Get StartedConnected was designed to help college students organize and build connections. While social platforms on the internet were originally designed to help people feel more connected to each other, we are living in a time where people feel lonelier than ever. Connected makes building community simple and stress-free. You can browse fellow students’ profiles as well as events in your area that align with your interests. If you find someone who you want to connect with or an event you want to attend, simply click the plus sign and Connected will notify your fellow student or add the event to your calendar. Find Out More!We will partner with local businesses around college campuses through hosting Connected events to raise awareness for the app and cultivate commmunity. We will host dinners at local restaurants as well as activity based events such as yoga and painting night.
Connected will place Youtube advertisements within videos made by creators and/or channels that are popular with people age 18-24 in an attempt to appeal to college students.
Influencers have become a big part of determining what is trending online and in general. We hope that by collaborating with content creators, we are able to recieve feeback on our app, make it better in any way we can, and broaden our audience.
Each month Connected will have a special offer for those who get someone to sign up for our app. These offers will vary based on the month, but will include coupons for free food items, a month free of a subscription service, and many more.
